Emma Slayback struck out 15 in a complete game shut out sending Heyworth to a 7-0 win over Blue Ridge and a Regional Championship Tuesday afternoon in Heyworth.

Slayback faced two batters over the minimum allowing a hit and walking just one batter.

Cassie Zimmerman had the lone base hit for the Lady Knights.

For the Lady Hornets, Brooke Monteggia was 2-for-4 with six RBIs, a double, and run scored. Bailey Brooks was 4-for-4. Emily Rogers finished 2-for-4 with the other RBI for Heyworth. 

Slayback tripled going 1-for-4 at the plate.

The Lady Hornets to got 17-4 overall. They will take on the winner of today's Fisher/Argneta-Oreana matchup on Friday in Regional Championship action.

Blue Ridge finishes its season 12-14 overall.
