Kickball was probably a staple on the playground for most of us growing up.

If you want to pu those old-school kickball skills to the test, this weekend is your chance thanks to the Clinton High School football team. Coach Ron Bass indicates his team is hosting a kickball tournament and cookout fundraiser this Saturday.

According to Coach Bass, the tournament is open to anyone of any age. Teams are $150 for a team of ten. There will also be a cookout during the event.

Coach Bass indicates fundraising is very important for programs within the high school. While the school and athletic booster club does provide quite a bit of support, there are still things the programs need that those two entities cannot provide.

The tournament again is Saturday at Clinton High School. Teams of ten participants are $150.
