Friday night lights might turn into Saturday afternoon games unless the Illinois High School Associations find more officials.
The I-H-S-A reported an uptick in new officials last year, its challenge for the I-H-S-A to find new officials. Craig Anderson serves as the Executive Director of the I-H-S-A.
According to Anderson, the I-H-S-A added over 1-thousand new officials last year, but more is needed. To help supplement the shortage, the I-H-S-A provides the rules book, training, and other opportunities to receive licenses.
