The Monticello Sages are hoping to bottle up the disappointment of last week's tough loss to Bloomington Central Catholic and create some mementum heading into the second half of the season.
Football coach Cully Welter was pleased with his team's effort despite a 24-16 loss to Bloomington Central Catholic. He believes sometimes you see a good effort but the film doesn't reflect it however, that wasn't the case this week.
A lot or Pontiac is new this year. Coach Welter indicates they may see a different defense than what they have shown on film so far but they also have good, young athletes that can make plays.
