Clinton offensive lineman Noah Bass and Monticello quarterback/linebacker Luke Teschke were named Illinois High School Football Coaches Association First Team All-State Tuesday.
Bass was part of a Clinton squad that went 6-4 and returned to the 3A playoffs for the first time since 2019.
Clinton runningback Tristin Potts was an all-state honorable mention.
Teschke led another solid Sages offense and played linebacker on defense. Teschke led the Sages to a 5-5 record and helped Hall of Fame Coach Cully Welter reach the playoffs for the 35th time in a storied high school coaching career.
Olympia linebacker/tight end Chase Litwiller was a First Team selection in 3A. St. Joseph-Ogden quarterback Logan Smith was a first-team selection.
