HS FBall: Five Maroons Make Central Illinois All-Conference

All-State offensive lineman Noah Bass led a group of five Clinton Maroons football players to be selected Central Illinois All-Conference, the conference announced Monday.

 

Bass was a unanimous selection as an offensive lineman and named second-team all-conference as a defensive lineman. 

 

Runningback Tristin Potts was also selected to first-team all-conference along with defensive back Dawson Graves, linebacker Ryan Stapleton, and defensive lineman Dawson Thayer. 

 

Graves was second-team all-conference as a runningback, Potts as a linebacker, and Thayer as a defensive lineman. Also earning second-team all-conference were quarterback Mason Walker, wide receiver Colton Walker, and kicker Taylor Anderson.

 

Honorable mention from Clinton were offensive lineman Densil Wheeler, defensive lineman Kristian Hibbard, linebacker Logan Thoms, and punter Jack Webb.

 

Clinton went 6-4 this season with a playoff appearance for the first time since 2019.
