A slow first quarter was too much for Argenta-Oreana to overcome as Tri-Valley beat the Bombers 48-38 in season opening non-conference high school boy's basketball action from the Cerro Gordo Turkey tournament Tuesday night.

The Vikings jumped out to a 19-1 lead after one. While the Bombers battled back, the slow start was too much to overcome. 

Chase Logue paced the Bombers with 12 points. Justin Flowers contributed eight points.

The Vikings were led by Brayden Stombaugh's 18 points. Ayden Jensen scored 13 points.

Tri-Valleys is 2-0 for the tournament and Argenta-Oreana is 0-1.
