The Bloomington Central Catholic Lady Saints were too much for Monticello and gradually pulled away from the Lady Sages 71-37 in Illini Prairie Conference high school girl's basketball action Thursday night at the Sievers Center in Monticello.

Megan Allen was the lone Monticello player to reach double figures with 11 points. Maia High and Sara Cresap added seven points apiece while Ali Weidner scored six points.

The Lady Sages did make 12-of-13 free throws.

Monticello drops to 6-101 overall and falls to 0-2 in the Illini Prairie Conference. Monticello visits Danville Monday night.
