The Clinton Lady Maroons locked down defensively in the second half and rolled past LeRoy 60-31 in non-conference high school girl's basketball action Tuesday night at Clinton High School on Gene Vance Court.

Clinton controlled the first half and led 32-24 but led 46-30 at the end of three and held the Lady Panthers to just one point in the final frame.

Clara Dempsey led the Lady Maroons with 17 points. Regan Filkin added ten points. Heidi Humbe scored nine points, Lyla Cluver added seven points and MaKayla Koeppel scored six points.

LeRoy drops to 13-7 overall.

Clinton goes to 11-8 overall. The Lady Maroons return to action Thursday night hosting Tuscola at 7:30 pm. Hear the action on 92.3 FM/106.5 FM WHOW and on all its digital platforms.
