HS BBBall: Blue Ridge Holds Off ALAH

Isaac Price scored a game-high 21 points and Blue Ridge held off Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond 59-53 in Lincoln Prairie Conference high school boy's basketball action Tuesday night in Arthur.

 

ALAH had four players score in double figures but Blue Ridge was able to use balanced scoring to hold on for the win. 

 

Price scored 18 of his 21 points in the second half after a big second quarter got ALAH back in the game. Blue Ridge jumped out to a 13-6 lead after the first quarter but ALAH battled back to bring it to a 28-28 tie at the break. 

 

ALAH made 21 of 25 free throws to the Blue Ridge's 15 of 22.

 

Zach Lewis added 18 points for Blue Ridge. Colin Michaels scored nine points and Wyatt Pearl added eight.

 

Blue Ridge goes to 12-6 overall and 3-2 in the Lincoln Prairie Conference. Blue Ridge will host Unity Christian Friday night to tip off the Lincoln Prairie Conference tournament. A win earns them a matchup with Argenta-Oreana on Saturday afternoon.
