St. Joe-Ogden jumped out early and Monticello never recovered as the Lady Spartans topped the Lady Sages 46-33 in Illini Prairie Conference high school girl's basketball action Thursday night in St. Joseph.

Ali Weidner led the way for Monticello with 16 points and eight rebounds. She also added four assists and a steal. 

Maia High had ten points and seven rebounds for Monticello. 

The Lady Sages are 8-14 overall and 1-3 in the Illini Prairie Conference. They will travel to Rantoul on Monday night.
