HS BBBall: Argenta-Oreana Rolls Sullivan

A big second quarter propelled Argenta-Oreana over Sullivan 60-48 in Lincoln Prairie Conference high school boys basketball action Tuesday night in Argenta.

 

The Bombers trailed 19-11 after the first quarter, but opened up a 36-31 lead at the break thanks to a 25-12 second quarter and then expanded its lead to 51-36 after a 15-5 third quarter.

 

Ethan Mahan and Chase Logue each had 19 points to lead the Bombers. Jalynn Flowers scored 11 points. 

 

Camden Watkins had a game-best 26 points for the Redskins. Brett Bushue scored 12 points for Sullivan. 

 

The Redskins are 17-7 overall and 5-2 in the Lincoln Prairie Conference.

 

The Bombers go to 14-10 overall and 6-1 in league play. Argenta-Oreana travels to Toledo-Cumberland for another league game Friday night at 6.
