Monticello senior Trey Welter was one of four seniors to be named unanimous first-team All Illini Prairie on Monday.

Welter led Sages to a 15-15 record in the 2023-24 basketball season. He was the team's leading scorer. 

Riley Weber from Pontiac, Tanner Jacob from St. Joseph-Ogden, and Henry Thomas from Tolono Unity were also unanimous first-team selections. 

Pontiac's Kerr Bauman and Prairie Central's Tyler Curl were first-team selections.
