Illinois State Rolls Indiana

Auggie Rasmussen hit two home runs in Illinois State baseball's 16-6 seven-inning win over Indiana on Wednesday at Bart Kaufman Field.

 

Rasmussen's pair of blasts plated five of nine runs for Illinois State in the 2nd inning as the Redbirds (6-8 overall) pounded out 15 hits.

 

Judah Morris tallied three hits, four RBIs, and two runs while Daniel Pacella had two hits with three RBIs and two runs scored.

 

Morris cleared the bases for the Redbirds with an RBI double as he came around to score a few pitches later, making it 14-0.

 

 JT Sokolove tallied the fourth home run of the afternoon, sending one out to the Indiana bullpen.

 

Illinois State is scheduled to play Friday-Sunday at UT Martin.
