Clinton broke out the bats again Wednesday and rolled to a 16-0 win over Cerro Gordo-Bement in non-conference high school softball action Wednesday in Cerro Gordo.

Heidi Humble and Avery Smith drove in two runs apiece for the Lady Maroons. Brooke Reeves was 2-for-3 with three runs scored at the top of the Clinton lineup. Ashley Armstrong was 3-for-4 with a run scored and two runs batted in for Clinton.

The Lady Maroons did not strike out in the contest on Wednesday.

They go to 2-0 on the season. Clinton travels to Lexington on Friday.
