Blue Ridge softball drops game to Salt Fork

In non-conference action Friday night, Blue Ridge faced off against Salt Fork in a softball match up.

 

The bats were hot for the Salt Fork Storm. The Storm started the game off strong against the Blue Ridge Lady Knights by scoring two runs in the top of the first inning. 

 

The Lady Knights responded with one run across in the bottom of the first inning. 

 

Ellie Schlieper took the mound in a rough outing for the Blue Ridge Lady Knights. Pitching all six innings Schlieper gave up 18 runs off of 18 hits.

 

Cassie Zimmerman was hot for the Lady Knights going 2-4 at the plate toting 3 RBI's and one run scored.

 

The Blue Ridge Lady Knights play next at Armstrong-Potomac on Monday.
