Maroa-Forsyth used a balanced offensive attack to top Warrensburg-Latham 11-1 in a run-rule, five-inning win Tuesday afternoon in non-conference high school boys baseball action in Forsyth.
Mitch Williams was 2-for-3 with a triple, two RBIs, and a run scored to pace the Trojans. Kaiden Maurer scored three times and was 1-for-3 with an RBI.
Ace Giles drove in two from the nine-spot in the lineup. Zayn Giles and Andy Munjoy also had RBIs.
Cayden Rose went 3 2/3 innings of one-run ball starting on the mound for Trojans Tuesday. The junior struck out four, walked three, and permitted five hits.
The Cardinals drop to 1-4 overall.
The Trojans are 5-0 overall and will host Okaw Valley on Thursday.
