Luke Martin hit a walk-off two-run home run and Mt. Pulaski beat Nokomis 5-3 Tuesday in non-conference high school boys baseball action from Mt. Pulaski.

Martin threw five innings of two-run ball, one run was earned. He struck out six and permitted five hits and three walks. 

Liam Smith was 1-for-4 with an RBI. Carter Clark was 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored. Tyler Cross was 1-for-3 with an RBI triple and a run scored for the Hilltoppers.

Chance Payne threw a scoreless seventh inning with three strikeouts for Mt. Pulaski.

The Hilltoppers go to 2-0 on the year and will travel to Pawnee on Thursday.
