Iroquois West broke a 6-all tie in the top of the 7th inning and edged past Blue Ridge 7-6 in non-conference high school girls softball in Farmer City Wednesday afternoon.

Karlee Fenton doubled and drove in two finishing 2-for-4 to lead the Lady Knights.

Addison Roos and Lily Enger scored twice while Cassie Zimmerman drove in a run for Blue Ridge.

Ellie Schlieper allowed seven runs, five were earned. She struck out six and permitted eight hits and walked one.

Blue Ridge falls to 1-3 overall and will travel to Rantoul Friday afternoon.
