The Blue Ridge Lady Knights could not keep up with Rantoul and fell 11-0 on Friday evening.

Rantoul got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Sherrick doubled, scoring one run, Morgan Doubled, scoring two runs, and Cann homered to left field, scoring two.

Rantoul Extended their early lead with four runs in the bottom of the second thanks to home runs by Sherrick and Herbert.

Rantoul extended their early lead with two runs in the bottom of the third thanks to RBI singles by Bell and Sherrick.

Sherrick earned the win for Rantoul. The starting pitcher gave up zero hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out seven and walking one.

Ellie Schlieper took the loss for the Lady Knights. She went three innings, allowing 11 runs on 11 hits, striking out one and walking two.

Rantoul collected 11 hits in the game. Sherrick drove the middle of the lineup, leading Rantuol with four RBIs. She went 3-for-3 on the day. Bell and Herbert both collected multiple hits for Rantoul. 

Blue Ridge will travel to Armstrong for their next game on Tuesday.
