The Meridian Hawks were too much for Clinton who fell 12-2 in Central Illinois Conference softball action from Meridian Tuesday afternoon. 

Avery Smith drove in two runs for Clinton finishing 1-for-2. Heidi Humble was 1-for-2 with a double and run scored. Brooke Reeves finished 1-for-2 with a run scored and a walk. Sarah Mills also went 1-for-3 for the Lady Maroons.

Clinton drops to 4-5 overall and 1-1 in the Central Illinois Conference. They are scheduled to travel to Fisher today.
