HS Baseball: Mt. Pulaski Drops Argenta-Oreana

Luke Martin was dominant over seven innings and Mt. Pulaski took advantage of shaky Argenta-Oreana defense in a 7-4 non-conference win in high school baseball action from Mt. Pulaski Wednesday.

 

Martin struck out 11 and allowed just one earned run of four as the Hilltoppers took advantage of five errors by the Bombers.

 

Landon Smith went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI, and a run scored for Mt. Pulaski. Chance Payne, Tyler Cross, Franklin Wade, and Kolin Gibbs all had RBIs for Mt. Pulaski. 

 

Landon Jackson drove in two runs for the Bombers.

 

Mt. Pulaski goes to 11-0 overall and will host Midwest Central in its Tomahawk Conference opener on Thursday.
