Mt. Zion scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning and walked off Monticello 4-3 in non-conference high school baseball action Friday afternoon in Mt. Zion.
Eli Craft doubled twice and drove in three runs for the Sages, helping them to a 3-1 lead after six innings.
Matt Swartz drove in a run and Jacob Long and Luke Teschke scored runs for the Sages.
Monticello has dropped its last two to fall to 28-4. They have one final tune-up on Monday before they begin postseason play on Wednesday at Monticello High School.
