Illinois State secured the series finale victory at UIC, 16-3, Sunday from Les Miller Field in seven innings.

The Redbirds (26-23 overall, 14-10 MVC) were led by Daniel Pacella as the sophomore went 4-for-5 at the plate with six RBIs.

UIC drops to 32-16 overall, 15-9 in MVC play, and 18-6 at home.

Illinois State returns home to Duffy Bass Field to host Eastern Illinois on May 14 before wrapping up the regular season with a three-game home series against Belmont from May 16-18.
