Offense was in limited supply Saturday for Normal West as the Wildcats dropped a pair at Chatham-Glenwood, 8-2 and 1-0, in non-conference high school baseball action in Chatham.
Alex Olson and Sam DesCarpentrie drove in the only runs in the first game. Olsen finished 2-for-3 with a stolen base while DesCarpentrie was 1-for-4. Trent Durham had two hits for the Wildcats and Jaxson Crancer recorded the other base hit.
The second game was just a five-inning game but Olson pitched three effective innings for the Wildcats. He allowed a run on three hits with four strikeouts and two walks.
DesCarpentrie threw a scoreless inning of relief with a strikeout.
The Wildcats are 18-13 overall and start the final week of the regular season hosting Mahomet-Seymour on Tuesday.
