Clinton could not keep up with Tri-Valley as they rolled to a 15-5, five inning, run-rule win in high school softball Regional quarterfinal action from Downs Monday evening.

Addie Phillips and Zoey Whittaker drove in three runs apiece for the Lady Vikings. Phillips hit a home run while Whittaker doubled twice.

Brooke Reeves drove in two runs for Clinton while Heidi Humble and Hadley Humble each drove in a run.

Clinton ends its season 10-15 overall. 

It's off to a Regional semifinal for Tri-Valley at the Normal U-High Regional.
