A late push by Tolono Unity sent them past Monticello 10-4 in Class 2A Regional semifinal high school softball action from the St. Joseph-Ogden Regional Wednesday.

The Lady Sages tied the game at 4-4 after taking an early 2-0 lead. But the Lady Rockets' bats came alive and scored six unanswered runs to put away Monticello.

Sadie Walsh paced Monticello finishing 2-for-4 with an RBI. Avery Schweitzer was 2-for-4 with a run scored. Cassidee Stoeffel and Reese Patton drove in runs for the Lady Sages offense.

Monticello finishes its 2024 campaign 19-13 overall.
