Ethan Eberle struck out 12 in seven complete innings leading Normal Community to a 4-2 win over Moline in Class 4A Regional semifinal play Wednesday in Normal.

The Louisville commit allowed two unearned runs with just a walk and allowed two hits.

Dexter Niekamp was 3-for-3 with a double and scored a run. Kyle Beaty, Kaileb Hackman, Ryan Thiele, and Luke Drengwitz drove in runs for the Ironman. Owen Cavanaugh was 2-for-2 while Beaty was 2-for-3 with a walk at the top of the Normal order.

The Ironmen are 32-3 overall and will go for a Regional Championship on Saturday at Normal Community High School.
