GCMS has all the makings of what could be a very fun fall football season.
Coach Chad Augspurger returns a three-year starting quarterback and his entire offensive line. While he will need to fill in some skill positions from a dynamic group that graduated last year, he feels very good about what he has coming into this fall.
Coach Augspurger enters his third year for GCMS and after years and years of a dominant ground game, the Falcons now spread the field. Coach Augspurger likes the way his team is starting to pick up his offense this offseason.
Coach Augspurger says despite a declining enrollment in the school, the turnout to play football in Gibson City is still very strong and the kids are working hard while they're at it.
GCMS opens the season hosting Ridgeview-Lexington on Friday, Aug. 30.
