Sometimes the health of a high school football team can make or break a season.

For Central A&M, that was the tale of the 2023 fall football season. Coach Brent Weakly says his team battled through quite a bit of adversity last year but credits his players for never giving up on the season.

The Raiders will return a lot of experience up front and Coach Weakly feels that will be a huge boost to his team this year.

One thing Coach Weakly has learned over time is the guys up front are what makes your offense go and because he's experienced up front, he likes the potential for his team this fall. Defensively though, he notes they will be young.

Central A&M will start its road to get back to the postseason hosting LeRoy on Friday, Aug. 30.
