The LeRoy football program is embracing the excitement and expectations this fall.

Coach BJ Zeleznik says his team had a tough ending with Althoff Catholic knocking them off in the second round of the 1A playoffs but that fueled his team in the offseason. He calls it a valuable experience.

The Panthers will be led by Bo Zeleznik who anchors the offense at quarterback. But Coach Zeleznik says he has a great supporting cast around him.

Coach Zeleznik says his team is very close. But he also has good depth this year. 

The Panthers will host Central A&M to open the season on Friday, Aug. 30.
