The Hall of Fame coach told his team while he wasn't very happy with how his kids played, he was proud of their resiliency to pull out the thrilling 28-25 victory.

Monticello senior Carter Foran went for over 100 yards receiving again Friday night and provided a pivotal 90-yard interception return for a touchdown that put the Sages up 21-10 early in the third quarter.

Off to its best start since winning the first six in the fall of 2021, Coach Welter says there's still some frustration as they enter week and still having to clean things up.
