Clinton was able to overcome five turnovers in a 23-14 win over Ridgeview-Lexington last Friday night.

Maroons coach Ron Bass was pleased his team was not able able to face some adversity for perhaps the first time this season but also to overcome it. He explains the Mustangs forced them into a new defense they hadn't used yet.

Coach Bass felt there was a good lesson in Friday's win that things may not go your way but if you keep battling, good things can still happen.

Coach Bass anticipates a good matchup with undefeated Eureka this week at home. 

The Maroons face teams at or above .500 the rest of the way - a win away from their second straight playoff appearance.
