Coming off an emotional and thrilling 28-24 win over Bloomington Central Catholic, Monticello welcomes Pontiac to town for an Illini Prairie Conference tilt.
Coach Welter was pleased with his team's resiliency in its victory over the Saints. While not entirely pleased with how his team played, he was glad his team never gave up.
Film review has changed quite a bit over the years and Coach Welter indicates they are able to get kids their film notes over the weekend rather than having to spend a day doing it during the week.
Pontiac enters play winless in four games this season but Coach Welter points out they have battled injuries for much of the season. However, they have good size and could present a challenge for the Sages.
