Last week, the Clinton Maroons won 23-14 against the Ridgeview-Lexington Mustangs. 

This is their smallest margin of victory all season as the schedule gets tougher head coach Ron Bass says this week the team will need to work on taking care of the football against an impressive Eureka team after five turnovers last week. 

Wide receiver Anthony Westbrooks separated his shoulder and will be out this week. Coach Bass is confident in the players that will be stepping into that position calling it the next-man-up mindset. 

Coach Bass notes Eureka does a good job of changing up their offensive formations and matchups. The undefeated Hornets have not given up a point in the last two weeks, so the Maroons may have their work cut out for them.
