The Clinton Maroons were humbled in a 47-6 loss to Tri-Valley last Friday night.

Head Coach Ron Bass hopes his team learned some valuable lessons about what it takes to be a winner on Friday night. Ultimately, he say the buck stops with him. 

Coach Bass was the defensive coordinator at Tri-Valley before coming to Clinton and knows full well, what the Vikings do isn't complicated but they do it effectively and put pressure on their opponent to make the adjustments to stop it.

The road to the postseason for the 4-2 Maroons doesn't get easier as they host Shelbyville Friday night. The winner Friday night qualifies for the postseason with its fifth win as the Rams come to Clinton 4-2 overall.
