HS FBall: Clinton Hosts Dee-Mack

With two games to play, the Clinton Maroons are still looking for that playoff-eligible fifth victory.

Last week the Clinton Maroons suffered a 30-22 Loss at home to the Shelbyville Rams, bringing their record to 4-3. Maroons Head Coach Ron Bass explains it's tough to be on a three-game losing streak and his team will have to dig deep to become playoff-eligible this week.

Although Dee-Mack is only 1-4 in conference play, Coach Bass says not to discount their team. It's a winnable game, but Dee-Mack has been getting better every week. He notes with Dee-Mack's backs against the wall, it will be a good test for the Maroons.

Although the Maroons are still looking for eligibility, Coach Bass feels confident that they can win one of if not both of their next two games. He says it's all about how bad his players want it.

The Maroons will strive to make it over the 5-win hump tonight against The Dee-Mack Chiefs tonight at home. Game time is 7 PM, catch the game right here on WHOW and all our digital platforms, beginning just before kick off.
