The Clinton Maroons Defeated the Buffalo Tri-City Tornadoes by a final score of 58-42 on Monday night at the 14th Annual Bill Rucks Memorial Tournament. The Maroons were led by junior Brock Wilson who scored an impressive 17 points and was the Servpro of Piatt/DeWitt Counties Player of the Game. Anthony Westbrooks and Dalton Bell scored 11 points, while Keaton Graves put up 9. Jack Manning had 6, and Jaxon Reynolds and Jack Webb chipped in with 2 each.
The Tornadoes were led by Hill Muir and Dominik Riley who both scored 8. Jaeger Hill and Gage Shafer had 7 and 6 respectively.
With the Win, the Maroons kick off their season 1-0 and will play their next game in the tournament against Illinois Central High School Wednesday at 5 PM.
