Blue Ridge overcame a slow third quarter to get by Normal Calvary Christian Academy 73-61 in non-conference high school boys' basketball season-opening action Tuesday night in Normal.

The Knights led 40-29 at the intermission but Calvary rallied to go up 51-49 after three quarters.

Corbin Colbert scored nine of his 15 points in the fourth quarter to help the Knights put the game away late. 

Isaac Price paced all scorers with 34 points for Blue Ridge while Wesley Clark chipped in with 13 points.

Blue Ridge is 1-0 on the season.
