In a game heard on WEZC and online at dewittdailynews.com, the Monticello Sages fell to the Marshall Lions by a final score of 58-37.

The Sages were led by Ike Young who scored 9 points. Gatsby Grant was the second leading scorer with 8. Buehnerkemper put up 6 and was our Servpro of Piatt/DeWitt Counties player of the game for his impact on the defensive side of the ball. Maddux Quick put up 5 points while Carter Foran had 4. Ayden McCool and Colton Vance chipped in with 2 and 1 each. 

The Lions were led by Bently Delp who scored 21 points, 15 of those being from beyond the arc. Garrett Pugh followed with 14 points. 

With the loss, the Sages find themselves at 0-3.
