Argenta-Oreana struggled offensively in the second half and Meridian rolled to a 71-47 win Tuesday night in non-conference high school boy's basketball action in Argenta.
The Bombers played close through the first half, trailing 21-18 at the end of the first quarter and then 35-29 at halftime.
The Hawks pulled away in the second half, outscoring the Bombers 36-18.
Colton Denny led Meridian with 17 points. Bryce Brown and Paul Ralston scored 15 points apiece for the Hawks.
Damian Gude had 12 points to lead Argenta-Oreana. Tyson Tennin had 11 points while MJ Hall scored ten points.
Meridian is 3-7 overall. Argenta-Oreana goes to 3-8.
The Bombers take on Blue Ridge Friday in Farmer City.
