Monticello beat Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond 46-27 in non-conference high school girls basketball action from Arthur Tuesday.

The girl's game was the start of a girls-boys doubleheader Tuesday night.

Sophomore Ali Weidner led the Lady Sages with 11 points. Megan Allen added nine points while Madi Melton scored eight points for Monticello.

Monticello outrebounded the Lady Knights 30-19 and finished 12-of-20 at the foul line.

Monticello travels to Warrensburg-Latham Thursday night.
