A big third quarter helped Argenta-Oreana get by Blue Ridge 58-47 in Lincoln Prairie Conference high school boy's basketball action Friday night in Farmer City.

The Bombers and Knights played to a 17-17 tie in the first half, but Argenta-Oreana used a 24-15 third quarter to take a 41-32 lead going ot the fourth quarter and held on from there.

The Bombers used balanced scoring Friday. Tyson Tennin led the way with 12 points. Tyson Oros added ten points Damain Gude scored eight points, Carter Logue chipped in with seven points and Montraze Brummett scored six points. 

Isaac Price led all scorers for the Knights with 25 points. Wesley Clark chipped in with 13 points.

Blue Ridge is 5-5 overall and 0-1 in the Lincoln Prairie. They go to the Greenview Christmas Tournament starting with a 2:30 pm matchup with LeRoy on Monday.

Argenta-Oreana improves to 4-8 overall and goes to 1-0 in the Lincoln Prairie Conference.
