Four players scored in double figures and Clinton escaped Neoga 59-53 in high school girl's basktball day one action from the Monticello Holiday Hoopla. 

Reagan Filkin scored 13 points while Carly Anderson had points and Lila Cluver and Avery Smith each scored ten points for the Lady Maroons. 

The Lady Maroons built an 18-10 lead after the first quarter. The Lady Indians cut the deficit down to 26-23 at the half but after an even third quarter, Clinton was able to hold off Neoga in the fourth. 

Neoga drops to 6-7 overall.

Clinton improves to 10-3 overall. They will take on PBL Friday morning at 11:30 am followed by a 6 pm matchup with GCMS in the second day of action in Monticello.
