Monticello needed overtime to hold off a furious comeback by Tuscola and win 56-53 in high school girl's basketball action from the Holiday Hoopla in Monticello.

Monticello led 36-21 at halftime but Tuscola stormed back to tie the game and send it to overtime.

The Lady Sages outscored the Lady Warriors 8-5 in the extra session.

Ali Weidner led Monticello with 21 points, six rebounds, and three assists. Sara Cresap added 12 points.

Megan Allen had six points and eight rebounds.
