The Clinton Maroons fell to the Tuscola Warriors by a final score of 43-37 in the championship game of the Holiday Hoopla Tournament from the Sievers Center in Monticello Saturday night.
The Maroons were led by Colton Walker who shot 50% and scored 12 points. Dalton Bell earned the title of Servpro of Piatt Dewitt Counties player of the game by scoring 10 and shot two clutch 3 pointers to keep the Maroons in a tight game in the 4th. Keaton Graves rounded out the top three with 5 points.
The Warriors were led by 6'5" Sawyer Woodard who scored 9 points. James Parker followed closely with 13 points.
The close game was tied 28-28 after 3 quarters, but ultimately the Maroons were outscored 15-9 in the 4th.
With the loss, the Maroons fall to 9-6 while the Warriors improve to 14-0.
