Carly Anderson scored 26 points and led Clinton to a 66-39 romp over El Paso-Gridley in non-conference high school girl's basketball action Monday in El Paso.

Anderson hit five three-pointers helping Clinton turn a 19-13 first quarter lead into a 37-15 halftime lead adn EP-G could not recover.

Clara Dempsey scored 17 points to help Clinton go to 13-5 overall. Lila Cluver and Avery Smith each scored eight for the Lady Maroons.

Clinton takes on Heyworth Friday night as part of a varsity doubleheader with the boy's basketball squad. Tip-off is 6 pm. Hear Friday's action for both the girls and then the boys on WHOW and all its digital platforms.
