In a game heard on WHOW and all it's digital platforms, the Clinton Maroons defeated the Heyworth Hornets by a final score of 45-31 from Clinton on Friday Night in high school girls basketball action.

The Maroons were led by the Servpro of Piatt/DeWitt Counties Player of the Game Carly Anderson, who scored 17 with 15 being from beyond the arc. Clara Dempsey followed closely behind with 16, while Regan Filkin chipped in with 6

. 

The Hornets were led by Kyra Denning who scored 14 points. Lacy Gerike (GER-KEE) added 8 points.

With the win the Lady Maroons improve to 14-5, while the Lady Hornets fall to 9-8.
