Mitch Williams scored 27 points and Maroa-Forsyth downed Bloomington Cornerstone Christian Academy 57-42 in non-conference high school boy’s basketball action Saturday in Maroa. 

Williams fueled a Trojans squad that is beat up. Ryne Sheppard remains sidelined with an injury from the Trojans 2A runner-up finish in the football playoffs and leading scorers Coby Lane and Caebrin Lee are both out with injuries sustained during the season. 

Grady Rose added eight points for Maroa-Forsyth and Brady Doss added eight points. 

The Trojans go to 7-6 overall. They host Decatur St. Teresa on Tuesday night.
