In a game heard on WEZC and at dewittdailynews.com, Bloomington Central Catholic made 11 threes and rolled to a 59-44 win over Monticello in Illini Prairie Conference boy's basketball action from the Sievers Center in Monticello Friday night.
Trey Eller hit three threes to open the second half and BCC jumped out to a 20-point lead in the second half. Eller finished with a game-high 17 points.
Keshaun Manney scored 12 of his 14 points in the first half for the Saints. TJ Larson added 11 points.
Gatsby Grant scored nine points to lead Monticello. Colton Vance added eight points. Nolan Buehnerkemper grabbed a game-high nine rebounds.
Vance earned the ServPro of Piatt/DeWitt Counties Player of the Game.
Monticello and BBC's records both are 9-8 overall. BCC is 2-0 in the Illini Praire. Monticello is 1-1 in conference play.
